Miso-Sesame Glazed Impossi-balls
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Makes 12-15 balls
What You Need:
- 1 12 oz package of Impossible™
- 1 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
- 4-6 scallions, finely chopped
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- salt
- 1 pouch of Haven’s Kitchen Gingery Miso sauce
- 2 tbsp of Cooking oil, we like avocado oil, olive oil, or grapeseed oil
- toasted sesame seeds
How to Make It:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Combine Impossible™ cilantro, scallions, breadcrumbs, a hefty pinch of salt and a squeeze (about ¼ pouch of Gingery Miso) and form even 1-inch balls (should make 12-15 balls) *You can use your hands to mix and form the balls for best results*
- Heat up a large, oven-proof skillet over high heat and coat the bottom of the pan with oil
- Add the balls to the pan. Allow the bottoms to sear so when you move them around, they don’t stick. Roll them around until they’re seared on all sides, approximately 2 minutes on each side
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook them for another 10 minutes, until the balls’ internal temperature is 160
- Carefully remove the pan from the oven and squeeze about another ½ pouch of Gingery Miso sauce. Roll the balls around in the warm sauce then sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
