Gingery Miso Salmon Rice with Harissa Mayo
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serves 1
What you need:
- 1 cup white rice, cooked
- 1 salmon fillet
- Salt
- 1 pouch of Haven’s Kitchen Gingery Miso Sauce
- Glug of soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 pouch of Haven’s Kitchen Zippy Chili Harissa
- Kewpie mayo
- Toasted sesame seeds
- Roasted seaweed
How to make it:
- Cook your rice according to package directions. Meanwhile, get a pan hot with a glug of oil over medium high heat
- Season salmon with salt on both sides. Add your salmon skin side down and sear for 4 minutes on each side. Finish with a squeeze of Gingery Miso. Set aside
- Add your rice to a bowl with a dash of soy sauce, a squeeze of Zippy Harissa, and Kewpie mayo on top. Mix together
- Add your salmon on top of the rice and flake it with a fork. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds
- Optional, but top your bowl with sliced avocado, kimchi, or any other sides to your liking
- Wrap a chopstick full of the rice with a piece of roasted seaweed for the perfect umami bite. Enjoy
