Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves 4
What You Need:
- ½ pound ground lamb (Beef, Beyond Meat, or Turkey)
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- salt
- ¼ small head of red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 English (thin-skinned) cucumber, chopped
- A handful of dill, chopped
- Olive oil
- 1 Lemon
- 1 pouch of Haven’s Kitchen Golden Turmeric Tahini
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- Hummus
- 4 pita bread or flatbreads
How to Make It:
- Gently mix lamb, parsley and cumin, and 1 tsp. salt in a large bowl just to combine. Form into ¾”-thick sliders
- Heat a dry large skillet, preferably cast iron, over medium heat. Working in batches, cook patties, pressing slightly to flatten, until browned on the outside but still pink in the center, about 4 minutes per side.
- Meanwhile, prepare the mezze platter:
- toss cabbage, cucumber and dill with olive oil and a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of salt
- mix a squeeze of Tahini into the Greek yogurt and a pinch of salt
- scoop hummus
- warm/toast pita bread - Serve sliders hot with the rest of the platter, drizzled with more Tahini
