Miso- Sesame Glaze Turkey Meatballs
Miso-Sesame Glazed Turkey Meatballs
Cooking Time: 25 minutes
Serves 4
What You Need:
- 1 lb ground turkey, ground beef or meat alternative
- 1 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
- 4-6 scallions, finely chopped
- ½ cup breadcrumbs, GF fine
- Salt
- 1 pouch Haven’s Kitchen Gingery Miso sauce
- Vegetable oil
- Toasted sesame seeds
How to Make It:
- Preheat oven to 375
- Combine turkey, cilantro, scallions, breadcrumbs a hefty pinch of salt and a squeeze (about ¼ pouch of Gingery Miso) and form even 1 ½ inch balls (should make 16-20 balls)
- Heat up a large, oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat and coat the bottom of the pan with oil
- Add the balls to the pan. Allow the bottoms to sear so when you move them around they don’t stick. Roll around until all the balls are seared on all sides
- Transfer pan to oven and cook them for another 10-12 minutes til they’re cooked all the way through
- Carefully remove the pan from the oven and squeeze in another ¼ pouch of sauce. The heat of the pan should make the sauce sizzle. Roll the balls around in the sauce then sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve
