Red Pepper Romesco Grilled Cheese
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Serves 2-4
What you Need:
- 4 Slices hearty crusty bread
- 2 TBSP mayo or butter
- 1 pouch Haven's Kitchen Red Pepper Romesco (half the pouch will be for assembly and half will be for dipping)
- 1/2 cup fresh herbs (we like Dill or Basil, but anything works!)
- 6 oz shredded cheese
How to Make It:
- Spread mayo on the outsides of your bread
- Build your sandwich starting with your bread (mayo on the bottom), Romesco, cheese, herbs, and more Romesco. Top with the other slice of bread, mayo on the top
- In a pan over medium-low heat carefully place your sandwiches in and hear them sizzle lightly. Cook for about 3-4 minutes checking to make sure the underside Is getting golden brown but not burned. Once desired color Is achieved, flip over and continue cooking 3-4 on the other side until golden brown
- Once done, remove from pan and let rest for 1 minute
- Cut In half (so you can watch the cheese ooze), and serve with remaining Romesco for dipping
